Help with shipping Leather seats

I want to ship my leather seats out but need help in figuring out shipping cost. Has anyone shipped out the complete set and if so what was the weight and what methods to you used to ship. I'm thinking of putting everything on a pallet and wrapping up with carboard and plastic.

I would suggest trying FedEx Ground or a freight company instead. UPS is not competitive on oversize and heavy packages.

I had to ship an 8x1x1 ft tall 120lb box a month ago and UPS quoted me $150...shipped via FedEx ground for $50.

My two fronts weighted 80LBS, shipped in a box using DHL. Way cheaper then Fedex or UPS for big boxes.

I sold my OEM seats, and I did what you're thinking about, put them on a pallet, wrapped them up in a bunch of cardboard and then wrapped that all up in plastic. The seats arrived in good condition. I shipped them Brown (the trucking company, not UPS), and it was if I remember correctly about $70.

Greyhound Express will do it the cheapest. If possible I would separate the back from the bottom of the seat and send four pieces...but if u do ship whole then lots of bubble wrap and then cardboard over the bubble wrap and dont just dump it into a big box, fit the big pieces to the seat so it fits tight.
