Guess what, I only dyno'd 299.6 on a Dynojet - nowhere near 346. If you go by my ET of 12.30, it says I'm making 359whp - oops, even further off from reality.

What gear were you in when you dynoed the car?
If they are not the same, your comparison is pointless.
Although no one knows how you magically went from 123 to 127mph traps, and although we haven't seen you duplicate it, 127.xx mph still only equals to 480-490whp, not 540whp. And when did it become a daily driver? It sure wasn't in the past.

Diverter Valves are good for the Evo. The stock IX DV is awesome.
Blow-off Valves are not good for an Evo unless it no longer uses the MAF.
We also lump all diverter valves and blow-off valves into the term "BOV", so I'm sure you just got confused.

I preffer the Term ABV for Air Bypass valve, So If you see me say ABV, I mean a Recircluated BOV. If I say BOV it means It VTA, Vents to Atmosphere. I got more Personal lingo I should put all my abreveasions in my sig.

Words are for noobs.
I'll be going with either the Forge RS or Evo15 DV pretty soon. Hey Scott, does TTP offer any specials for Evom members? Sorry about the OT comment.
BOVs can be bad when an incorrect type is used. For an Evo with a MAF sensor as they come from the factory, stick with a recirculating BOV. Don't waste your money on this mod unless you really need one. I'm kinda bleh about having to buy one, but you gotta pay to play. 30 psi is a bit too much for the stock metal DV.

I don't why people have such a hard time understanding blow off valves (CBV).
