Transmisson keeps slipping

I only have 10,500 miles and my trans has been slipping the last two days. I'll be sitting at a stop light and i put in first and start to go and pops right out of first, has anybody had this problem. Please help

I have never had that problem but I am interested in knowing why that is happening.

try adjusting your clutch pedal engagement point higher, sounds like the clutch isn't completely disengaging. you're saying when it's in first and you have the clutch pushed in, the car still tries to move forward, correct? if so, the pedal adjustment should fix it.

no when i take my foot off the clutch and start to move

bent shift linkage could be the culprit

could be that youre locking ring is letting it pop out of gear but i would check out your shift linkage first to make sure that it isnt something small
