I know what you mean comin from driving a Stang(me a Fbody owner, RWD), I cant wait to be in a IX myself to do some canyon runs. Get the full aspects of driving, not just going in a straight line.

fbodies always did handle better than the mustangs though , ford never wised up , they used the 4 link rear forever , chevy atleast used a torque arm / panhard bar so u got some sort of mild control over the rear as opposed to the wonderful 4 link rear suspension on my mustangs. OH ! the new shelby gt500 finally uses torque arm/panhard bar set up, its about time !

Ford finally figured it out 4 years after the Fbody got dropped lol.
