I actually bumped into someone the other day who had the same issue. He said he realized it was an install issue. Dont quote me.

I still don't know what you're talking about. We already explained why the MBC only gave 18psi - it was the soft spring. So now what is your question? Other Evo owners do not randomly see 24psi on the stock boost system - that is a bad thing. We don't know what you do to fix it, because we don't know what the problem is yet.

Uh, yes, those are 100% required when running stock boost. What the hell are you doing to your Evo, man?

You are having the same problem I had with my Forge. You have a older version and is spiking to 24psi even with the soft spring which should max at 19psi. It is erratic and can be resolved by cleaning the unit, and greasing the ball. Search the forums for cleaning Forge and you will find the method. Don't blame you for going hallman though, or the new Forge units.

where can I get one of those restrictors? I didn't think you needed them because when you put in a boost controller you replace the lines. Or do I only not need them if I'm using a boost controller. I hopr I didn't do too much damage

replace the lines with a mbc with no restrictor pills in them. if you want to go back to stock, use your stock lines or get them with the restrictor pills at mitsubishiparts.net.

Honestly, if I were you I would just return the hallman and save $80. Its really easy to just change the spring. But if you insist on using the hallman then its kool too...we would just feel like we wasted our breath...haha
