looks like the intake on the turbo is on the same side as my evo too but the charge pipe is in a weird location
id imagine this all has to do with the anti lag but i have no idea

I think it's illegal for street cars to run an anti-lag system and they sound like a freakin' rifle when they have it on.

well with out being there and look at all the piping it is hard to tell what is what, they like to twist tings around for rally cars, and re route all the piping.

From my knowledge the anti-lag system basically retards the spark timing to a point where most of the combustion occurs in the exhaust manifold. At the same time more air is added and typically active when the throttle is closed.

Don't know if this will help with the picture but you could probably figure it out.

The airbox looks to be the bigass carbon fiber box on the passenger side with the big hole in it. Not a bad idea to get air from the topside of the car considering all the mud/water/crap they drive though. The downpipe is probably routed though the engine bay so it doesn't get *****slapped after the car jumps 100 ft through the air. Or runs over rocks the size of bowling *****.

I believe the anti-lag works by basically burning the a/f mixture in the exhaust manifold to keep the turbo spooled up. Part of the anti-lag are those two tubes going to runners 3 and 4. As someone mentioned, probably to provide air for the fuel to burn in the mani.

When the driver lifts his foot from the gas pedal the ignition timing is altered with sometimes 40° or more of delay (retard) and the intake air and fuel supply mixture is made richer.

Thats the full electronic version of Anti-Lag. This is using something more akin to the Porsche air injection and thats a little different. This system just injects air and fuel into the exhaust manifold for the same effect. If you havent ever heard a factory anti-lag system versus say an Autronic system the results wont be as readily evident. This system sounds like a rifle as mentioned, whereas the full electronic version "chirps".

#2 is indeed the downpipe as I also pointed out earlier.

This is not an early 4G63, its merely one with the turbo pointing toward starboard.

And of course the longevity of the turbo is severely compromised with anti-lag. Unless you plan on changing your turbo / exhaust manifold frequently, don't install anti-lag.

Brake master cylinders. Front, rear and, probably the handbrake.
