When your "dipstick" tells you to. That's what it's for...

i don't know...maybe once a year...lol....you should drive it more often

i don't think the dipstick tells you to change your oil... ...but it does tell you how much oil is in your engine

Change it every 6 months if you're not putting the miles on.

Oil does get water and other contaminants in it over time, not just miles.

I bought my Evo new back in '04 of Sept. It has a little over 3000 on it right now. I change the oil 2-3 times a year and when I'm not driving it much or at all in the winter, I just start it up every other week and let it run for about 20 minute to let the oil flow through the engine.

that's a good rule of thumb. also drive it around the block once or twice just to gets the joints and tranny moving a little just to stretch her out.

Yea you should definately give it a run around the block too. Boost it a little. Then let it cool and shut it down. Also you guys should be letting them sit on jack stands and not the ground youll flat spot the heck out of those tires

The manual says 5000 miles or 5 months, no? Go with that.

why would you buy an evo if you only drive it that much?! I mean I could see if it was an all out race car, but its made to be powerful and reliable for a reason...
