For the people who say "my gauge is off" - how do you know? If you're comparing it to a MAP sensor read-out, how do you know the MAP sensor is accurate? MAP sensors have a number of issues, and will give different read-outs at different elevations. Additionally, the MAP sensor read-out will vary with the weather ("there's a high presssure front coming in..."), and they also vary in accuracy based on temperature and pressure. Here's another data point - some people were complaining about the boost number from my ECU+ product when using the GM 3-bar MAP sensor, so I the tested a customer's new-ish sensor and a brand new one. Results: brand new one was about 1 PSI low, and varied by about 1/2 PSI across a few trials. The almost-new one was 3 PSI low, and varied by as much as 5 PSI from trial to trial, especially around 20 PSI. (The ECU+ software was, of course, spot on, but it can't do anything to correct a screwed up MAP sensor.)
