The Defi comes with a monting kit,but you have to drill hole's or use adhesive strip's they provide.I used Autometer EVO Steering Column Gauge Pod 52mm.

Mike,

There is nothing wrong other than the fcat that it wouldn't read any valuable info above the 1.5 bar.

I personally recommend Defi BF imerial gauge on PSI reading but that is jut my opinion. I tried at least 10 different gauges on my 12 turbo cars I owned and I found that Defi is just a desirable instrument that not only reads boost /vacuum but also it would do multiple funtions.

Most accurate boost gauge on the market is a digital display that runs off of a MAP sensor, like the Zeitronix. Any analogue gauge will be less accurate.

I got ya. Yeah I need to change the stock one because Im above 1.5 bar. Nothings wrong with it.

AK - Why didnt you just use the mount that came with it plus the adhesive strips?

Yeah, something like the Zeitronix or a SPA digital boost gauge is bound to provide a more exact readout than an analog gauge.

not to mention, it isn't even all that accurate at 1.5 bar and under. i compared my reading on the factory gauge to the reading of 2 other gauges tapping the same source and the factory one read lower than the others. some may be decent, but i'm sure not all of them are accurate.

Interesting ak...Any idea where you would apply the adhesive so it would stick properly on a straight surface?

I've got an autometer ultralite.. seems to be at "1psi" when the car is off, I'm in the market for a new accurate gauge also.. nothing autometer this time.
