More like "Bow-WOW" (tobz's avatar!) . the field will be more fierce this year, and hopefully we will have a large evo contingency again as well! Working on getting a couple indy cars to rip up the 1/4 mile with us, it is the "Month of May", all Indy drivers will be in town then anyway!! Have lots of Celebs getting into this one also! More details to follow.

 

Going to add an EXOTIC carshow, as well as a "race-car" show!! Should be awesome! I got to put something in the "oval track".......Why not RACECARS?

 

The Tire Rack commited to a large sponsorship on this event today, good stuff no? Bob and Tom (Q95) are next! Going to try and get them both to race my car at the event! Bob Kevoian has been to both events so far, and want's more! We are also having a race-car/exotic car/ car show. Lambos/Ferraris, etc... And am working on the Indy Drivers now!! WOW I have been busy. More news when I get some!

We "had" to do that, as we went with "WHERE WAS THE CAR MADE?"scenario. "Our" side (Imports) had 400 entries, (over 100 Evos ), and the other "captains" side (USA) didn't have such a large pool to choose from. we are on the ball now, and have more time to market this, so we should be better balanced, and a close event.

THere is a guy with a 1300 RWHP VIPER (pump gas) who missed the last one, and claims to be the one to beat this time. We shall see! The body on that is Carbon fiber. Here is a photo of "said" Viper. scroll down.

Here is the latest news: Those not knowing how this event works, it is like this: All cars will be put in classes. The import class "XYZ" will be racing with the Domestic class "XYZ", in all events/all day. So there is some "smaller battles" throughout the day. (trophies for 1st/2nd/3rd)in EVERY class, for both Import AND domestic. Repeat this scenario for ALL classes. At the end of the day, scores are tabulated and sorted,and we will get an OVERALL WINNER, Be that IMPORT or DOMESTIC. So it is a "TEAM" effort to dethrone the other side, as well as FUN throughout the day, in these "Mini" battles.

There are only a select number of spots for this event, so it would be advisable to "be" on the WW site, to watch for announcements there. Registration/Rules/Classes will be up when the Committee is done with them. (soon)

Don't forget, we will be having a HUGE EXOTIC/RACECAR and "REGULAR" Truck/Bike and carshow there as well, with LOTS of trophies, lots of Vendors, lots of FOOD, and mostly- LOTS OF FUN!
