Anyway, we are close to announcing the location/venue/events. You will be surprised where it is!! Awesome place. You can find more info at the site: IF you are already signed in, YOU WILL be getting an email in the next 2 days (Nov1-3) about the "where and when" the event is. WATCH for it in your email!!

www.wingedwarrior.net in a nutshell, it is a Charity event for the kids at the local Childrens hospital, where we all get together, and give with our hearts, as well as our right foot!! AMS took the championship last year, but the competition will be stiff next year for sure.

Is there a automatic entry for a certain place finishers from WWII?

I hope I'm here next year in May, but I think Uncle Sam has something in mind for me.

 

Uncle Sam can wait! there will be a "favorable nod" to the folks here, and the ones who competed in the previous ones. You my friend, are also on my list!

 

I did forget to add above, that this is also a HUGE car/bike/EXOTIC car show as well. If you know of someone interested in either RACING, or SHOWING, please send them over to the site. I will announce the location soon, but the event is in MID-MAY 2007. (yes I know it is early to post this stuff) The registration for the racers starts Jan 01, 2007, which is NOT that far out!

It has been a while since we emailed you, and it wasn't because we were asleep waiting for something amazing to happen for WWIII - we were "quiet" because we were pounding out the details behind the scenes TO MAKE IT AMAZING! I am sure you will be happy with the results. The previous events were too large for just two of us to organize and run, so thankfully we have some people who know how to run an event who are helping us out this year. They are volunteering their time and knowledge so we'll have smooth driving come race day!

The event format is the same as last year, Import v. Domestic Shootout and a car show that will include exotics. The benefactor is also still the same- THE KIDS! All proceeds will go to Riley Hospital for Children's Cheer Guild.

Winged Warrior III will be held Saturday May 12, 2007 at O'Reilly Raceway Park (formerly the Indianapolis Raceway Park) just west of Indianapolis! We're very excited by this opportunity to use this professional racing facility, and we are grateful to the folks at O'Reilly for working with us to host our event.

This email is just your heads-up - the rules and regulations are being hammered out as you read this. Keep checking in at www.wingedwarrior.net periodically for the latest updates. Since we changed the site a bit, you may have to sign up again. We are opening up the registration pool for the racers on January 1, 2007. We anticipate this event will be larger then ever, with nothing but us like-minded car buffs giving to a good cause with our hearts as well as with our right feet!
