#4 Most RELIABLE Auto Mfg. MITSUBISHI - 2006
2006 CONSUMER REPORTS:
1)Lexus
2)Honda
3)Toyota
4)Mitsubishi
5)Subaru
Right behind Toyota!
Dont know if this is a repost but I was very happy to see this. People give Mitsu a lot of sh*t about quality and such from the past (rightfully so). After owning a 1G DSM I really believed quality and Mitsu were not synonymous. However, after owning my EVO for almost 2 years and really putting a beating on it along with the extra powers and mileage, I am very impressed with it and Im not suprised to see Mitsu making a strong comeback where they needed it most. Reliability.
Now they just have to work on their service departments

Nice to see. Makes sense given the warranty that is offered from Mitsu. Put the warranty gripes in regards to the Evo aside, and the fact that they offer a 10yr/100K mile warranty on most of their lineup says to me that the have faith in their product. If they thought their cars were going to break all the time they wouldn't offer a warranty like that because that a ton of free service.
The Evo is a different story. The rest of the Mitsu line is rarely modified like the Evo is so the general consumer will definitely take advantage of the warranty.
Cool to see.

Good to see that is turning it around. Makes me feel even better about my decision to pick the Evo. It does seem that the past 2-3 years Mitsu's cars have generally been better overall. Hope they can keep this up

It included all vehicles and was scored upon problems with vehicles reported. I was reading another report that had the Mitsubish Lancer (non EVO) in the top 5 most reliable cars!
The EVO will usually never be considered reliable bc there are so many morons who abuse them to the point of destruction and then act like its the cars fault.

Wow this is good to see, I mean even the EVO in my opinion is pretty reliable major issue usually only occur with people who modify it. Doen't get me wrong I know even stock EVOs have some issues, but so do all cars. Some guy just bought a MazdaSpeed 3 and 400 miles later had a check engine light pop on.
