All of our exhaust components fit without problem on the Evo 8 and Evo 9. It clears the diff, tie bars, oil pan etc... No rattling or rubbing. If you have a old version of our exhaust from a Evo 8 and your try to install it on the 9 it will not clear 100%. You would have to put a dent in it for it to clear but all of our new systems fit with ease.

Jrod -

2 questions:

1. where will the old DP interfere on the IX? and is it a big dent
2. Your DP does not have a flex joint - can you explain why this is not needed, as the stock setup uses a flex joint at the turbo.

Thanks,

Marek

i'd also like to know about the flex joint. it seems like it's better to have it.

The dent would need to be right on the one bend around the diff. The clearance on the older style is not enough to clear the active diff. Its not a BIG dent but it will be a dent.

The "flex" on the stock downpipe is from the spring bolts. We have used our downpipe forever without a flex section and its been problem free and have had no issues with that. We can install a flex in the downpipe for an additional $90. Its up to the customer if they want one.

Thanks for all your replies guys.
I have another question. Is it true that my check engine light will go on if I get a DP and a High Flow Cat?
