Got a couple of bad spots on my wing on the clearcoat. Local dealership is going to talk to the district rep. I have an 05 that I bought new so I don't think the warranty should be an issue. Of all that I've read I'm still not sure about what my replacement would be and how long it would take? I've read that the IX wings aren't all carbon fiber, that VIII wings take forever, etc. I was interested in stripping the paint down to the carbon fiber and just clearing the whole thing but I don't have the time or skill for that. People have mentioned there is someone on here that does that but I couldn't find who. Thanks for the input.

 

if they dont warrenty it remove the wing wet sand it with 1000 grit tape off paint and spray it with a light coat or two of clear..

 

Get a hold of laakness. He stripped his entire wing and re-cleared it. Looks nice IMO.

 

Is there someone on here that does it? I mean you send him your wing and he does it all?
