But I think an adult owned, well maintained and documented car will fetch a grand or two more, but still. Once you drive it off you are losing about 3-4K on an MR.

I bought a 2003 EVO 8 about 9 months ago (this was my second one) in perfect condition....with only 21k miles on it for $22,000 I know i could of found one for less, but my local mitsu dealer had it and i would pay more for something to buy it from a dealer.

My 03 TB VIII was 23k OTD w/18k on it
My Girls 04 WW RS was 22k OTD w/8k on it
I know used car manager we bought these from personaly. Everything on them was checked out at the time of purchse.
Compression test, Leak down test, Brakes were checked, plugs pulled. Everything on both these cars were great.
Currently my car has 53000 and hers has 30000 both are perfect 100%. I put a clutch in mine at 50k it wasnt shot yet but it was on its way. Maintain these cars and they'll love you forever

In Nevada you don't have to pay sales tax on private party car sales. What about your states?
That can make a big difference in price on 27k+ car.
Not to mention the much higher interest rates on used cars and even higher on private party used cars. Unless you buy the car straight cash.
I would say the prices you are getting here are a little skewed. But since most people are financing their used cars maybe it's not really an issue because we are basically using the same data pool.
But if you are like me and buy a used Evo private party in NV and pay cash you done good.
