Broken Defi BF boost gauge
I'm wondering if anyone else can tell me about their experience. I know that many of these have gone out on people, but I can't find any threads on it. It's not even a year old (installed in March) and it just quit on me yesterday. Worked fine on the way to work, never turned on when I left work. It's just...dead. Can anyone tell me how long it took 'em to get it replaced? How big of a hassle? I already have an e-mail in to the place I bought it from (ravspeconline), waiting on a response.

I checked their site last night and it said to go through the shop I bought it at. I've tried re-wiring it, moving it around in the chain, nothing works. I thought that's all they would tell me to do and then say go thru the shop for a replacement or something. I'll try e-mailing Defi directly as well, thanks.

Yeah, doesn't even turn on at all. As if it was not plugged in. I tried moving it to the other port too, no luck there either. It's weird, like it just 'died'. Worked one minute, didn't the next. I've heard other stories like this as well, but only with the boost gauges. Just surprised it didn't even last a year...

Yeah, I had mine for 8 months, wow, almost to the day. I bought 'em on March 2nd. And it's not like I was messing with it. I drove to work, it was fine. Started the car up after work, it never turned on...

Yes, the other gauge works fine. Here's how it's setup: Control box --> oil press. gauge --> boost. The oil pressure gauge still works just fine, so I know the control box is ok. There's only 1 wire going from oil press. to boost, and it's in and secure. I tried moving it around but no luck. The gauge doesn't even light up, make noise, move, nothing. Just dead.

Haven't had a chance to do that yet. Tomorrow morning I plan to switch up the order in the chain, which will effectively put the boost gauge right into the controller as it's first in line then.
