damn your quick to get rid of it ...umm i actually dont know what to do i know a few people out here in fl with the cf hood and its open and they have never had a problem but i really dont know....if its not a pain can i see some pictures

I have had my CF hood on for almost 2 years here in FL, with the open mesh and have had no problems. Actually you will find alot of ppl remove the aluminum shield from their stocks hood for additional cooling.

yeah three pictures were all the same car(the first one i took it at night..) i think that's why the picture turned out better..... so you guys are saying that you don't even need that shield underneath the grill?.... b/c what if it rains? what if it snows? cuz i live in new england area... would this be bad to my engine though?

I had mine off for the summer, but I put it back on for the winter, I also live in the new england area, just don't want the cold a$$ snow/ rain to get on the engine. not sure if it will cause damage, can't see how it will, just a personal option... i guess.... btw the car is looking good, big fan of the cf hoods, looking to purchase one next spring...
