Bad Alignment from Factory??
Bought a 06 Evo 9 brand new and it pulls slightly to the right, no shaking or anything, just a slight gradual movement. Wondering if anyone else has experianced this, and if this is covered by warranty. Car is stock.

Hey Rob,
Yes, your problem on here has been quite common. Depending on how many miles your car has, you can have it realigned if it is under 1200miles or so I beleive? A lot of 9 owners are having to replace their tires early becuase of uneven wear. If your car is not under that short alignment warratny, you should take your car to a AMS type place (tuner shop for Evos and the liking) and let them PERFECTLY do it... For just a little bit more then the place down the street. Itd be worth it

car has 400 miles on it, and i KNOW i have not hit a curb or anything else. I'm extremely carefull with it. I'll probably bring it to the dealer for free first, and im gonna get suspension in december anyhow, so i'll get a shop to align it correctly at that point. Thanks for the info, thought the dealer had sold me a vehicle which had already been curbed.

Yeah, definitely take it in then. There's been quite a few people noticing that the alignment is off on the new IX's. Congrats on the car and enjoy it. I'm about to buy one :-)

Funny, just rotated my tires, have been every 3500 since new in January, my right front is worn extra on the inside relative to other three, also pulls to right after rotation, but tires also almost dead. 17500 on car, with many mountain runs, couple autocross and three drags.

Keep the rears two or three pounds less than the fronts to help the rear end come around when cornering. 40 lbs is way to much. Try 33f and 31r or for better fuel economy try 35f and 33r.
