Floor Jack Points

So I have rotated my tires once now, and i used that frame looking thing that runs the length of the car, in a ways from the factory jack points. i used a shorty 2x4 to spread the weight a bit and it did not dent in. I am still weary about it. So I need to rotate them again today. Where is the safest place to put 2 floor jacks? If you take it to a tire shop, and they put it on a lift, where are they going to put the supports?

the indicated jacking points are fine. THat is what they are designed for. I had the car up on 4 jackstands at the 4 jacking points yesterday and today while swapping coilovers with no problems.

Be careful. I used to always do the same thing until my piece of wood split a little, causing the jack to fall off the frame and put a dent in my drivers side floorboard.

Yep, you aren't the only one. I posted about it in here back when it first happened. Several people have similar experiences.
