I used to have an rs. Jumped it one time over a huge slope coming up on some train tracks. On a road with traffic, it was stupid. My friend said my car went straight up and straight down and sparks flew all over the place. Landed 2 lanes over and regained control. My friend told me the cars they jump in movies are usualy done after a few jumps....I know the evo was made for rallying but I'm not sure if the u.s ones they bring over here are the same as the rally ones built for that stuff....anyway I'd never do it again it was just me being a dumb kid a few years ago. Its not worth it becuase you really go up not knowing if youl have control when you come back down.

If you really wanto to jump and do so safely, there are coilovers by Proflex and exe-tc with hydraulic bumpstops which will make sure you bottom out more smoothly.
I've done it a couple of times on the road. But I try not to make a habit of it.

Well I know, I wasn't giving an exact time when I made that statment. I was just trying to get across that it felt like forever.

I know it was at least 2 sec.

How fast were you going? Did you land square on all 4's? ^

You call that jumping? I used to jump my mom's '78 Chevy Caprice Classic wagon off big hills in San Francisco when I was 17. Of course I would NEVER jump my own car.
