It is amazing how fast that car of his goes though. I didn't know it was still manually shifted. Thats just freaking AMAZING shifting skills.

He had some awesome runs all day. Left around 6 though so I must have just missed what happened. He did 195mph on his very first run so I can't even imagine what he could have done with all that cold air in the evening.
BTW - That engine bay is sooo clean looking and the 42R really looks like a GT35R when you first look at it. Hell, looking at it, you would never think that its a 7 second car. Awesome guy and driver as well... He'll be back.

i was blown away by his 7.7 run. Shep is the man no matter what anyone says. Hell things are bound to happen from time to time. John is consistent and that is something that doesn't just happen.
keep up the great work john.

I read about this earlier and from what I heard even the domestic guys were chearing him on!
7.7 at over 190 mph is no joke no matter what kind of car it is. Much props to Shep.
Oh BTW, since the shootout, he now holds the record for the fastest AWD car...

this is your 14th post on evom, and based on the tone of your post, you're talking smack about John? So really, do you drive an evo or a mustang?

No not an evo, but 4WD World Record nonetheless.
Looks as if the World Record for the fastest 4WD has been smashed by Reece McGregor's Heat Treatments GTR from NZ at the recent meet at the Willowbank Raceway in QLD.
Get this:
7.59s@308.36km/h
Check out the sideways action:
