My monthly insurance payment has gone up about $2 which would make it about $24 increase for the year....

Consider yourself lucky, in the south it has been rising about 5% every 6 months.

C'mon parents... go out and buy your kids a 300hp performance car for their 16th bday yaaaaaaaaaaay. Mine went up for no apparent reason not to long ago. After the coverage I received from hail damage I'm ready to tell State Farm to SHOVE IT.

Mine still is pretty cheap for an evo at $1030 a year but I liked it better when it was $910.

It does suck though considering on my brand new Mercedes its only $575 a year. It would cost way more to repair/replace and would cause more damage since its a SUV. Its all because far less people are wrecking them compared to Evos.

I echo your sentiments in general, but are you honestly starting a new thread to complain about $24 ... per year?

Yea that makes a lot of sense. I guess you are saying that you enjoy your high rates. The car is worth owning even though rates are high but that doesnt mean I have to like the high rates.

i am indifferent towards high rates. and mine are much higher than either of yours.

i just think it is futile to make threads about it and whine on forum.

You can blame it on inflation and also the increase of minimum wage.
