he's looking at around 3%, or waaay under msrp.

i got raped... i have no previous credit, so i got bombed with 14%! ouch! even after an 8g down, i pay 635! but i still send in a grand cause i can, and that'll help me out in the long run!

well i do have good credit, and my dad cosigned for me to get a lower rate.. but i still think the rate is like 6.75.. so its OK, but not a crazy low rate.
yet, 31,000 for the car after taxes and title, minus 3000 means i financed 28,000 for 72 mos.. hence 480/mo..
ok i see where the grand/mo comes in,.. how long is your loan? if i were working fulltime and not a college student id be doing double payments too..

I'm working full time until spring classes arrive. I still live with my parents and I don't spend my money on a lot of things, other than car payments and insurance. Mine is 523 a month for 60 months at 5.75% APR. At what point should I go and have it refinanced to get a lower APR rate?

i dunno if you are going to get a lower rate... prime right now is 4.25 i dont think they usually give that for car loans... thats more for prime equity lines and crap.. some dealers had specials when they were trying to raise the economy, but i think they are kinda done with that now...
