Evo Diagnostic 101.. *Noob query?*
Guys,
Recently I've been having cel-lights pop out, all of them at engine idle speed.. Moreover, I think my curiousity is driving me to start discovering the inside of my evo thru pc hookup..
I've been reading and searching and i've personally gathered some info. The forums relating to such subject are quite complicated and suddenly get extensively professional to my level! Yet, i do read about some guys just hooking it up and getting many info as well..
i really need some guidance as to where to start.. I hear Tactrix cable and Evoscan, but are our Gulf (JDM/UK) cars equiped with the same links and sockets (ODB-II..)?
My question is how do i start?? What and where to order from?? I want to scan my car, discover the CEL errors, study its reactions, to the extent of not fooling around and messing it up..
Wael *search anti-flame suite, check!*

Yes the odbII should be identical just on the right hand side instead of the left hand side for the states ![Wink](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
