Blew my engine

Got my car back after 2 months in the shop, and it blew almost right after i got it... Started in 2nd gear slowly and at about 4k rpms as it went up it blew, and smoke came out of the hood. Sucks.. Found out that I blew a hole in my shortblock.. Could I have damaged anything else? Time to go with the AMS 2.3l shortblock!!

Local shop tuned it. I'll get some AF ratio dyno sheets for you guys to see. It made 405.8 hp on a Dyno dynamics.. My tuner said that there were some misfirings probably caused by my stock ignition.. I don't know what happened for sure though, they are taking apart my engine as we speak.

Wait you blew a hole in the shortblock? Did you mean the piston I've never heard of that happening...

Piston would indicate really lean AFR's perhaps or maybe bad detonation and crap. Either way damn... You gotta post pics of the damage on this one.

Gas was new, 93 octane from BP. My tuner said everything on the tune was fine, there were no knocks or anything. Just some misfiring. I wonder if it had anything to do with my meth injection.. Is meth affected by the cold? It was like 20 degrees out when i was driving, and my tuner said that it might have been making a little more hp than it did on the dyno, and the engine just gave up..

Yeah, they didn't take it out and abuse it or anything. Leave me really puzzled. Well, this was all on an ecuflash.. I plan to go with an ams 2.3l shortblock, cosworth CNC ported head, AEM EMS, jun 272 cams, shep trans, shep tc... Sucks though, I thought the engine would have lasted longer..

I see, I think the ECU flash had its limitations, i think thats the cause.....or at least one of the causes...
