i love my rs...whenever people see me..theyll b like damn is that an rs??? since majority of evos r gsr's and mr's
i lived w/o power locks for 2 weeks which was a pain in the *** but then i got an alarm and power locks put on. crank windows dont bother me alot except when ur tryin 2 talk somone on the right side while driving u have 2 lean all the way to crank it down.
i love the gutted trunk too but dont put anything fragile in ther. i had a case of beer in the back n it cracked the bottles...
noise lvl isnt bad either....
but the no abs thing is a little scary for those stormy or winter days...or even dry days
i have stories wher abs saved my life and now im abs less.

I had an 03' prior, never once did the ABS kick in. Never on the track and rarely in the snow.
In the 06' RS, my RF wheel locks up when i'm braking real hard, though i only do it to test the braking. It should be alright unless your inexperienced on the track.

I've got almost 36k miles on my '05 RS. It's been a great car. I don't care whether an Evo is equipped with ABS or not...they all stop like somebody threw an anchor out the window. I've pretty much finished with the engine mods (Evo IX turbo, cams, cam gears, TBE, etc) and now I've sorta shifted my attention to the interior. I've had an awesome sound system in the car since about a week after I bought it but the lack of power locks just became too much. I had a power lock kit installed last weekend. Next will be some sound deadening in the trunk (maybe some fat mat) and then I'll do the coilover thing. The Evo RS is probably the best car on the planet if you're planning to go nuts with the mods. It's like a totally different car then the one I bought brand new in February of '05.
