Most of the "More exclusive" car companies that put the largest price tage on their cars are owned by car companies that offer mostly mid-priced cars or offer an array of options.
As you increase the price, you take out a population that can afford the car. As you decrease the price, you reduce the exclusivity of the car.
Think Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley, Range Rover, Rolls Royce, etc...
