i rarely see any 06 evo IX mr's in my area, and from what i heard they are about done producing them. anyone know the numbers on how many evo IX MR's, RS, IX's..... even the evo 8's???

What are the production numbers so far???

I thought I remember hearing that Mistubishi released 800 white RS models and 800 red RS models to the USDM in each model year beginning in '04. So if that's correct that would mean 5400 RS models were the total 3 year production run. Seems low but if it's correct that's officially my contribution to this thread.

you live in the wrong area, i think most of the MRs and evos are in cali. i see at least one everyday and an MR every other day. not counting when i go i into the garage. anyways i dont think anyone has found numbers. this question has been asked and i still havnt seen an answer

^He doesn't really live in the wrong area, there are plenty of EVOs in Maryland. But you live in the EVO capital called California, so yeah you will see a lot more EVOs than any other state. There are three EVOs on my street a lone (including my white RS and we don't even talk to each other, what a shame, but we do give each other the wave when we drive by each other).

I really don't have a clear idea of how many EVO IX MRs were created for sale in the USA, but if you live outside of California it's pretty safe to say that getting a 06 EVO MR will be tough and priced accordingly.

I wonder why Mitsubishi is introducing the new EVO X at the North American International Auto Show and not the Los Angeles Auto Show, being that a large % of sales come from California a lone. That's a pitty because I really am looking forward to seeing this car in person, but guess I will have to wait. But maybe they will introduce the EVO X at LA Auto Show also, they will release their debut list on Nov. 30th.

Ok I don't know, and honestly I don't think anybody knows. Why you haven't been able to find the answer you are looking for on the forum, is because nobody here knows. This question has been asked so many times, that it's hard to not go off topic. Don't blame us for going off topic when you post a useless thread. Not trying to sound mean, probably do, but oh well.

I posted total and US sales for either 2004 or 2005 several times. If you search by my name it should be easy to find because I have very few posts. I have not seen any other firm numbers than that one year.
