the only resaon i got an OZ is because when the WOMAN totaled my car...i had to get a new one.....this was August 2002.....so i couldt wait for an EVO....so before you say kiddies....not all of us had the choice....btw trading in this winter for EVO....=)

 

You are more right than you know. With an annual volume of 6500 and a relatively thin profit margin, Mitsu is not looking to make a lot of money from Evo sales alone. The Evo is a "Halo Car", which is to say that it brings people into showrooms who can't or won't necessarily buy the car but might be swayed into something a little more reasonable, like a Lancer OZ. Automotive marketing is complicated... one would think that the sole goal is to make money, but there are many ways to go about doing so.

 

The picture is of a girl who happens to be a minor who is holding a claranet doing something I'll leave to your imagination. Now keep in mind that there is a music key called "A" minor. It's simply a pun. "Music in A minor"

Music = claranet
in = literal meaning
A minor = double meaning

yeah exaclty what they said, so do you guys like the avatar or not? but back to the oz evo thing, i DONT think its for kiddies like someone said, i would have gotten an evo but i got my oz when they had barely came out, when they did bring out the evo i had already put mods on my oz and had already planned on adding more mods on. i cant think of anything else to say

 

Yea the avatar is odd. I assumed it was a band or an album cover.

As for the commercials, make of them what you will. I personally liked the one with WRC all over it but I have yet to see the 2F2F commercial so I can't pass judgement just yet.
