Not getting enough pressure, or it's all leaking out somewhere.

Yeah, you don't have a good seal or have a huge leak. Find where the noise is coming from.

Ok, well you obviously have an issue, but it's not necessarily a boost leak. Find the hiss and eliminate it. Also, tell us in exact detail the symptoms you're experiencing - rpm, gear, boost, noises, everything.

If it's stock why spend all day f-in with it? just take it to the dealer. Unless you are trying to learn something. That's a different story.

i had the greddy rs but i put the stocker back on.... so the hissing noise is way to faint to pin point and while the compressor is off the boost gauge drops suuuuper slow.

Yes, purchasing an expensive bov when your IX BOV is better was dumb, but it didn't cause this problem. If you're doing a boost leak test, you should be using a squirt bottle with soapy water - that's how you find the hiss. How else did you plan to find leaks?

What do you mean "and while the compressor is off"? What does that mean?

vta makes the loud whisssshhhh noise and releases its air pressure to the atomsphere its a type of bov. i have the recirulation valve which routes the air that makes the loud whiiiisssssh back into the intake intead of into the atomsphere
