I like how it looks but I have 2 issues

1. You'll probably fail inspection (I know this depends on the state but PA it will fail)

2. If your talking about JDM MR tailights then your looking at 450-500 dollar tailights not including shipping, I think thats a high price to pay for somewhat better looking tailights but het its your $.

Does that film go on theoutside of the tails or do you have to take them apart and put t on the inside?

it doesn't look to shabby... a couple of local guys here have done it on their cars (evo, s2k, is300, and a couple of honda guys) but it has been on the front lights... i talked w/ the guy that put the film on and he said that it is just a film that goes on the outside...

i was actually thinking of going that route because i can't see myself paying $400 plus shipping for a new set of lights...

I'm not quite sure why you would want to dim your rear warning devices...9 times out of 10, if you get hit from behind, the other guy is at fault. This is the 1/10 of the time that it is not so.

depends what state you are in when we are talking about guilt on a rear end collision. In ny state its %100 fault of the car that runs into rear end of another.

pay the $389 to $400 bucks and get some MR tails or 7 tails. imo that mod you did looks like something you would see on a honda with an an painted body kit or domestic.

Window tint will not apply/stick to plastic lenses. You have to use vinyl overlays such as these. FWIW
