you arent starting any problems this is what the forums are for. myself and evoryder were just clarifying or opinions on a certain subject no problem.we will always have our own opinions on parts and the way projects aought to go. some will agree some wont. good luck with your ic set up. u should have a pretty good list of tuners you can get your ic pipe set up.ams, buschur, peakboost, injen,almost everybody has a ic pipe set up for the evo nowadays. just find one you like that fits your application (with stock battery). u can check lancershop.com aswell they have quite a few diffrent brands and setups in one location. stikiller.com, jscspeed.com, horsepowerfreaks.com, just shop around. youll be cool.

They are more then "Cosmetic" but arent goin to add 10 awhp. They add throttle response and aid in turbo spool aswell. I will say the lower pipe does do more then just the upper.

One question though. If for instance, I were to buy the AMS ic and the lower ic pipe, would it work okay with stock upper? It won't cause any issues will it? Will the fitment be okay? Will I have any issue with the upper intercooler pipe being too restrictive or the air box not being sufficient.

 

the stock uicp will work w/ AMS' licp + ic w/ no issues
