So...any evoIX issues?
#76
I've tracked the car on road courses three times and am ticking 15k miles after 6 months of ownership. No troubles (knock on wood) whatsoever. The transmission is a bit notchy when cold so shifting when starting up in the morning requires a few extra revs. There are also the plethora of the usual Evo rattles but I don't mind those so much anymore.
Off course, I have this really **** issue with getting speeding tickets.

This particular 9 is doing well. At 19,000 miles, it still isn't using any oil, is still rattle-free and has enjoyed the strip on 2 occasions -latest was 12.6@108. Wartallon pkg. installed around 5000 miles. I would recommend this car to anyone who can afford the payments. Never fails to bring a smile to my mug-especially when a vette challenges her-havent been up against the new Z06 yet...

and you're completely right the tires do suck =-p lol
17 year old drag racers? hmm i'm 21 and by far the youngest...
and i think a tranny grinding from day one couldn't be considered my fault what so ever... esp considering this is not first second or third manual car. so maybe you should stop making assumptions and your head OUT OF YOUR ***
I've had it rebuilt by the dealer, i'm sure it was half assed again but it's been holding up just fine.
and if you knew anything.. lauching effect the transfer case not the tranny... improper gear change and no lift shift would case a tranny to break.
so dont get on my ***, i'm stating the problems i have seen.. and its nothing new, with a car like this its expected.
cheers!

Tranny grinding 2nd and 3rd 700 miles after i bought it. Awaiting response from regional rep on wether they will put in a new one or not.
They had to replace the synchros and some other things and now it's makin a strange chattering sound...so i requested a new one seeing as i had the car for less than a month!
Besides the creak and rattles she is running like a champ!
