I had a full Invidia TBE on my 03' WRX. It only rattled when I shut my car off. I assumed it was the DP but it really never bothered me all that much. Comes with modding. Does your TBE rattle all the time? It's most likely the DP hitting the cross member. This seems cause most TBE rattles on an Evo.

I would locate the source and make sure its not the DP against the transfer case or tranny. I seem to recall a post not too long ago where a DP wore a whole in the transfer case. $$$$ to repair. Maybe something is just loose. I have a bit of a rattle but its the heat shield vibrating.

Dont mean to scare you but you should check it out

I have the Invidia dp and it clears the TC. I had to replace my Megan dp as it was rubbing on the TC. Maybe something is loose??

If you look under your car it's the downpipe tapping off of the lower support braces (in all likelihood). The Invidia is actually very well designed and clears the tc with ease. You can get shims at any auto part store to space the braces so that the downpipe does not hit it. A lot of places that sell 3" downpipes include the shim spacers to ensure that your problem does not happen. Easy fix, I wouldn't sweat it.

sounds like its hitting the crossmember to me too

get shims/spacers for the crossmember and the rattling should stop but double check to make sure its not hitting anything else too while your down there
