It's not surprising that the cops have zero tolerance there and pull people over, remember the lynching with weapons at borders?

I've had bad dealings, I've had good dealings with law enforcement. Leaving P&L I got pulled over in stone park for an exhaust. I would have pulled myself over as well as I was flying when I passed him. I could have gotten a ticket for no license, no proof of insurance, no front plate, exhaust, and speeding but the guy let me off with only a fix it ticket for the front plate.

yea...always reppin for schaumpton...LMAO. ha ha ha.

seriously guys if I had been speeding or doing anything else illegal I wouldn't have complained...yes the cop had a right to pull me over and yes it's my fault the registration sticker wasn't on...I'm not mad at the cop for pulling me over for having an expired reg. I'm mad at him for pulling out and following me because I drive an evo...it was a rant that's all...I know I shouldn't complain because we drive fast cars and unfortuantly quite a few people don't know how to keep it on the track...

maybe he was running your plates as you were driving along, trying to determine why you had expired plates, and was therefore doing you a favor by not pulling you over immediately. Hypothetically speaking, say he was to pull you over right away, if he were to run your plates and it showed that they weren't expired (even though they were) and you had just not put the sticker on yet, then he would have wasted all of your time making you wait on the side of the road for him to have nothing on you.

Even though your'e plates were expired, it does take a little bit of time for a cop to pull up your information while operating a moving vehicle.

I don't know if they know Evo's, but they do know sporty cars. I didn't have a wing on when I got pulled over.

FWIW while being pulled over for expired registration may seem pointless, In Il. expired registration can mean a few things that would make you much more appealing to pull over.

1.) warrants be it for tickets, assault, sex offender not re-registering etc..
2.) stolen plates & or stolen car
3.) wanted for not paying child support
4.) suspended license
& more.

You know what I kinda disagree.

The Guy made a mistake. Granted anyone with a license to kill shouldn't be making ANY mistake (if I serve on a jury I will never cut a LEO a break). He admitted he was wrong and end of story.
