when i worked as a tech, i liked snap-on, matco, and mac because at least once a month would come by and check to see if everything was ok with the stuff you have of theirs. sometimes it would be a pain to try and get another replacement but other times they were pretty cool about it.
at home, on the other hand, i use craftsman because its lifetime warranty. anything happens, go to sears and get a new one. at the shop, i couldnt just leave, go to sears, and come back to replace my tools. to each his own though

Snap-on at work (industrial everyday use) craftsman at home. Just like everyone says...the Craftsman ratchets DO NOT hold up at all. But for the home garage....I wont waste my money. My good tools stay at work...besides, they are all standard sized stuff. Airplanes arent built with metric hardware....
