Very low level beep.....

Hi,
Anyone can share any idea?

I was in the middle of replacing my car stereo, hence I drive without listening to any music. I realize there is always a very tiny 'beeping' sound that is quite irregular, maybe every 5-10 minutes, I can hear it. It is very soft, but once I heard it, I can always hear it, even with my radio on.....

Any advice?

Seek hypnotherapy? j/k

At 5-10minutes just rules out just about any possible normal driving condition.

Do you actually have to be driving it to hear this?
How about simply at idle?

It would help if you could isolate some areas where this "beeping" is coming from.

Maybe what you're hearing is your cell phone's "low battery" or "message" alert?

No, only when driving. Not noticing it when idling. In fact, I thought it could be the Speedometer, but I observe the beep is not synchronize to the mileage reading: 1 beep maybe at .5 miles, the other beep could be 1.7 miles.

No, this is much softer, I would say 20x softer than my cell phone's message beep. It's very faint. It's more like hearing your neighbor's cell phone message alert, 2 apartments away, through walls.
