am I missing something? I don't believe a word they are saying nor did I talk to the dealer.
I was just passing on additional information I had. I make it a rule to never believe anything the sales person tells me and I've walked out on a good half dozen dealers because they flat lied to me.

Don't forget that Mitsubishi is forcing this crap down the dealerships neck. Each dealership is given a certaing amount of Mitsubishi aftermarket parts (pedles, shift knob's, bezels, ect) that they are forced to sell. My evo came with a bunch of this stuff and the dealer was asking $700+ for it all. I told them to f*** off and they didn't charge me for them. It's funny, though, b/c they refused to take them off b/c they wanted to get rid of them. To account for this, I paid full price for the accessories which they in turn took off the sticker price.

That's not the most markup stuff I've seen... At least it markup the parts 5x and charge the dealer markup for less..
In Porland, Oregon, the dealer has 6 Evo, guess how much they put on the sticker?? nearly 41000 with 10000 dealer markup.. yes.. truely 10000 dealer markup on the sticker.. I wish I got the digital camera that day.. it was totally a shock.. I mean with the spoiler and some option stuff, it is already more then 30000, that I understand, but a pure 10000 dealer markup price... and that's about 1 and half months ago when I see it.. I checked autotrader a few days ago and they are still having 6 Evo selling at nearly 41000... the zipcode I used is 97301.. you guys can check withint 100 miles if you want and see the price your self..

You missed a month ago when someone posted a picture of a window sticker in CA that showed a $20k markup. Yup, $50k and change for a nice new Evo.

i made a post about this last week. it was the first time i saw an EVO in person up close. my thread was more about how i was so excited and happy. and in the end, i mentioned the mark up. is that the yellow one sitting out in the lot?
stupid salesman. sure, these cars will sell like crazy after "the movie" comes out. i just walked away despite the salesman talking to me.
