I'll step up as the champion here. As of today, my 06 EVO 9 MR has 39,463 miles. It's very close to the 40,000 mile mark. I drive and enjoy this car. I'm in the military stationed in Oak Harbor, WA. I'm origanally from Chalmette, LA so everytime I go on leave - I drive cross country. I've done this twice since I have been here in Washington. The trip is roughly 3000miles one way so I've put roughly 12,000 miles on the car just from these 2 trips. Chalmette was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina and my parents now live in Villa Rica, GA. My friends still live in Louisiana so when I go on leave, I'm traveling between Louisiana and Georgia so I can see everyone. It's good times and I miss back home very much. I was down in St. Bernard Parish about 4 months ago and progress is slow, but they are trying to bring Chalmette and St. Bernard back from the dead. It so gut wrenching to see everything I knew comming up as a kid destroyed. Out by Lake Ponchatrain is absolutly heartbreaking, there is nothing left. The Coast Gaurd Tower, all the resturants and bars, everything - gone.
