More than likely cheaper for most parts since it is extremely hard to find rare stuff through a vendor if we are able to find it at an up garage or an autobachs. This is my 3rd trip and my friends 7th and we can speak enough japanese to get around so we have found our places that carry rare stuff. As far as exhaust and what not you are better off going through a vendor.
