I'm new to the Evo as well as i just bought mine this past Friday. I was looking for the same thing and as many on here will say to search the forums as there are a lot of posts...which is all true.
A quick note though....the B&M seems to be a very common one used, as well as the Kartboy i believe it's named, Perrin, and a few other ones.
THe general consenus seems to be that long term there might be issues with the Synchros from a short shifter which could lead to MItsu dealer denying your warranty. So be careful.
A lot of people are also putting on just new bushings made of metal, the Bushr makes them for inside the engine bay i believe and i don't remember who makes the 8pc kit for the shifter assembly inside the car.
I hope this provides some sort of help....and as always you can find the specifics on this stuff if you do a search and read some of the threads.
Thanks....Happy Holidays!
