I will post again when I get the bill for the bail amount. Probably in the range of 300-400 from looking at what other have paid. I dont think this was ticket had anything to do with import profiling, I was just going in the commuter lane a bit too fast and got popped.
I dont think a radar or laser jammer would have done anything in this case, he wasnt using a radar gun, he just came off the on ramp and speed up to catch me in the far left lane going 90+.
Thanks for all the support.

The one feature built into the HKS Type-1 Turbo Timer that I thought I would never use was the speed warning. I've set mine to 70 mph and that annoying little beep has saved me from three tickets so far (/me crosses fingers).
Food for thought

You can retro fit a cruise control from JC Whitney or from Lansers (if they have it) for a stock look.
I got a ticket from Texas HP three months ago and I want to go and fight it but guess what? The Judge is out on extended leave and they don't know when she'll be back

You won't get a point but you will have to pay for the ticket and traffic school.

Coming home today from san diego to santa cruz and I was yanked over around newport beach going 95. Damn this evo loves to go faster than is acceptable and I should have been much more careful, and i never toped 80 the rest of the way home. So this sucks, but live and learn and not more 90 on the 405. Flame on.
By the way, sorry about the ticket. I just drove the 405 last week coming back from Escondido. It's easy to speed on that highway.

I got stopped on Christmas day. 51mph in a 40 speed limit, couldn't find my insurance card and my inspection sticker was two months expired. Got off. He asked why I was speeding and I told him I could give you a reason but I'm sure you heard thousands of reasons. I found my insurance card in my wallet, went and got my car inspected and slowed down.
