Magazines do tests differently, I THINK C&D does their tests from an idle, full weight, and stock air pressure. That is why the numbers are a little on the high side.

Yeah I agree most of these articles are crap. A few things to remember though is the 350Z is over $30,000 (if the RS is $29K then there prices must be high). They said that the rev limit was at 5k which would be pretty hard to get a great time out of. Also since when did our cars top out at 148mph
