not enough power in reverse!!

to get in my driveway, the car need to climb a deep incline first.
and I tried to back up into my driveway tonight, and i like to backup really slowly,
like 2-3mph, as the car climb backward, the engine cannot keep up with the load
and stalled!!!

to climb the hill backup, i have to :

1. backup at 10mph, so there is enough torque in the engine to keep up. but it is dangerous to backup that fast in such a narrow driveway. i risk hitting the wall of my house
2. depress the clutch half way to keep the engine from stalling, but it burn the clutch

i cannot drive forward up to driveway because the front lower lip
will hit the ground. I did it the 1st night, and it hurted to hear the lip scratch
the ground!!

what do i do???

raise the revs a bit more and ride the clutch a bit more, it won't stall.
But you might smell some clutch

move to a different house...lol

take the driveway at more of an extreme angle....I had a gsx with a blitz body kit (I know, I know, it was a show car ) it was super low and I could get in or out of any driveway. the trick is to go slow and at an extreme angle

i try approach the ramp with a different angle, but i got 2 walls on both side,
just not enough room to do it.
i like the idea of moving... i need a house with a garage.....

i also used 2 pieces of wood in front of the ramp so i could go up forward without hitting the lip,
but it is such a pain... everytime i go up and down i got to run out to move those wood...

i never have any problem with my wrx. the reverse has a very low ratio.
why did they give such a high ratio on reserve on the evo?!?!?!? 40mph in reverse??

just make something you can leave at the end of the driveway then you don't have to move it unless you live on a busy street or something
