installed mbc, now i get 15 psi spikes and drop to 10
[B]hey guys, just installed manual boost controller (greddy/trust t.v.v.c), I plugged the boost/wastegate actuator, the turbo, and the filter. I ran vacuum hose directly from the wastegate to the mbc, and then the mbc to the bov line, now I get boost to 15, it spikes up to there, and drops to 10psi. I was doing a street tune but still same issue
also, I mounted the mbc to a screw by the block, the mbc gets hot as hell, should I mount this somewhere else?

At this point, if I was you, I'd find a local tuner and get someone to give the car a once over.
Or take everything back to stock and see if it continues.

Yeah, you need someone that knows what they're doing. That MBC is ridiculous, and I've never seen anyone use it, so I can't tell you how to troubleshoot it. HOpefully, the MBC is not the problem, but if it is, we won't know how to fix it. Start out by moving it to somewhere that makes more sense as opposed to almost touching the valve cover.
Make sure you routed the lines to the proper connectors on the MBC - many times, people do them backwards, although it usually causes really high spikes as opposed to very low ones. Also, did you actually turn the boost up? You may be sitting at base wastegate pressure (for a number of reasons) and need to turn up the boost. Have you gone from minimum to maximum on the MBC yet?

i pass by cops day and night, i even did a rolling stop by a bike cop, he just looked at me and turned the other way... my luck will not last for long though haha.
okay I reversed my vacuum hose and it seems like it has no boost lag, it going past 21psi which i get scared and lower the acceleration.
QUESTION:
when I do accel, it sometimes peaks at 25psi and i get scared ****less. Ive been reading about these pills in the old lines, do these pills need to be put back into place so I dont get crazy peaks?
