is your brake calipers fading or the clear cot peeling off?

Whats up everyone I got a newbie question!
For the past few months i have noticed my driver side caliper fading, then it started peeling off what looks like the clear coat. Now all of them have started to do it. It's realy ugly. I thought about getting them powder coated. Or maybe polish them. Does anyone know if you can remove the paint and polish the calipers or can they be repainted some how without making them worse.
I was wondering if this is a common problem. And maybe someone knows how to fix it!

I believe that this is a known issue with many of the early USDM Evos. Yes, they can be re-coated. I believe that warrantied some of them. It doesn't seem that you are the original owner so I'm not sure if you can go that route.
