Does Gauge installs void warranty?

Im curious to know if anyone out there has had trouble with warranty work due to gauge installs that you have performed on your evo.

It doesnt change any of the schematics of the car, so i would doubt it. Read over the magnusson-moss warranty act(sp?). See if that helps.

realistically they'd have to be directly linked to the warranty related issue to void your warranty

and also

gauges provide a form of monitoring your vitals and therefore a dealer should be happy you want them...I leave near a very non mod friendly dealer and they are cool with gauges and a turbo timer

so I hope that helps

Well, if youtapinto the FPR for boost and get a leak and the motor blows, they will prob. deny it. AS well as your radio if you tap into the harness for power

If your transmission goes, they could not. As long as the part that failed is not related to the part you modified, you will be alright by law (magnusson-moss)

Just be careful and take off a mod you think might be in question if you have something go drastically wrong
