Evo to be allowed in STX!!!
I don't know if this is a vicious rumor or not but I just heard that apparently, they are going to allow the Evo into STX. Supposedly, this will be published in the next edition of Fastrack.

HAHAHAHA major ownage going on there... all because of that "cheater" displacement increase and it still looses all the comparison tests against the EVO
Watch, the EVO's insurance rates will also end up being half what the big-engined STI's are too...

Stx would be a great class for the evo. I ran quicker in novice yesterday than all of the cars in Stx. The quickest in Stx was around 59.x, I ran 57.0's. Actually my times were in the top 10-15 cars out of 115. Not bad for me being a long time drag racer the first time out in the Evo. If the Evo is allowed in Stx, that is what I'll be running it in next time.

I gotta say that the EVO being allowed in STX is complete BS. I ran with 2 EVO's Yesterday at the NY SCCA AutoX with my Infiniti G35C.
The EVO can destroy almost anything in the STX class. But oh well. I feel bad for some of the WRX's in that class.

Some back up for the conversation is showing up over on the SCCA Forums...
Not sure if I want to run ESP or STX, though locally I am winning both with stock tires still...
