To be honest it doesnt matter to me and im not here to argue. I guess we will see the outcome when the time comes.

 

Honestly I don't know why more DSM's/Evo's don't run with nitrous at the strip. A fast ET is a fast ET. The nitrous would REALLY help spool up that big laggy turbo off the launch =)

 

Im not here to argue either.. My point is that the car has the potential to do it thats all.. The car is already trappin 123 in the 8th...I know everyone wants to go fast but its all in fun

You cant compare dyno numbers between Buschur and AMS. What if Buschur's car was put on a dynojet? with VP Import? It may put out more than 988whp. We dont know, so saying one car is the most powerful when there's variables like that involved, is impossible. These cars are pretty much even, power wise, within a mph or two, at those speeds that isn't anything.


By the way, I'm not counting the 1041whp car from Florida, it's a dyno queen, and has never made one pass. AMS and Buschur built cars to race, so those are the ones you can compare trap speeds with to estimate power.

 

You may think so, I may think so, but apparently a lot of people out there believe it is a better accomplishment to build a fast car without using nitrous, maybe because so many people feel it is cheating in some way.

 

LOL Ok but the same believe apply to some evo owners that cut everything out off there car for weight reduction ,some barley weight 2,400lb with the driver!

take a look at the weight and sides turbo to be able to run!

AWD 4 cyl (1 power adder =turbo only): 3,000 pounds
AWD 4 cyl (2 power adder = turbo+NOS): 3,100 pounds

The srt community is going to have a great year to. The srt that AMS just finished tuning up came home this week and we're anxious to see what he runs. I hope Buschar and AMS get in the mid 8's.

You did 798whp in your mustang dyno when you ran 8.9's..
We did 788whp in our mustang dyno when we ran 9.2's...

So don't be a hater and give us the credit, we deserve it, just like you guys deserve it, since you guys were the first in the 8's...
