Stock Recaro seat does not have much lower back support?

I like the recaro seat, it has great side support, but i will feel tire after 1-2 driveing in it.
I did not have any problem with my wrx. I had the same problem with my old civic.

Am I the only one who feel that the recaro does not give as good lower back support?

As an older guy with back issues, the stock seats are one of the few spots I can sit and have proper, comfortable support. Not knowing how you sit, I can only suggest that you play with the distance and rake adjustments until you find a better position.

i dont know much about the ix seats but i know in the vii seats i had a similar problem but i then sat in the ssl seats and i thought those were amazing. i could only recommend the ssl seats, you should find some at a dealer or something and see if you like them and then make a trade if you can. thats all i can really recommend.

i have no complaints about the stock IX recaros...although i do prefer the Recaro SRD seats i had in my previous car because they had slightly better support for your legs

I like the Recaro's in the Evo much better then the seats in the STi.

But I'm debating whether to put my Bride Zeta II in or sell them.

Those OEM recaro seats in the evo are in there to give the driver a good driving position so it may lack the lowerback support/comfort.

I have a bad lower back. So everytime I get home from driving the Evo, I just lay down. Long drives are not fun either. lol

I had an STi and those seats were horribly uncomfortable after a long drive because of too much lumbar support. I like my Recaros.
